Governing Documents

Bylaws give us our rules for governance. Common Area Rules set standards for common areas of the community. Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions set out special rules for parking, landscape and other changes to private property that are visible from the street. Xeriscape Rules give guidance for converting high water use landscape to xeriscape within the community, including timelines for creating and implementing plans.

All Chatham Court governing documents are superseded by state and federal laws. Examples include the Davis Stirling Act and state civil codes. These laws may change from time to time. If residents become aware of areas in which our governing documents should be amended to better follow state law, please email or add a comment to that effect on this page.
